Hydrodemolition
Roadbridge tasked AmmLee Group International to remove defective concrete from the base of a wind turbine with hydrodemolition.
Challenge
Roadbridge had discovered that the wind farm project they had been contracted to build had defective concrete on the base of the wind turbine. AmmLee Group were asked to find the areas of defective concrete and safely remove the concrete with hydrodemolition.
Solution
AmmLee Group identified the defective concrete areas (6m³) and safely removed the concrete using hydrodemolition at 2800 pressure.
Result
Ammlee Group successfully removed the 6m³ defective concrete in 5 x 10-hour shifts, allowing Roadbridge to replace it.
