Marine & Offshore
AmmLee Group has extensive experience spanning more than 20 years providing hydrodemolition, concrete repair, concrete pile cropping, wire sawing, and coring services for the marine & offshore industry across countries such as; South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.
Our industry leading methods are preferred by engineers. Hydrodemolition is a vibration free, dust free, and cleaner method of removing and replacing defective concrete and masonry, resulting in a quicker, efficient, and more accurate result compared with other methods.
Hydrodemolition produces a better quality surface to apply new concrete or repair materials, leading to a higher quality, faster, and more cost effective result.

Marine Applications
Piers
Hydrodemolition is the preferred method of concrete removal for pier maintenance & repairs due to the ability to access difficult to reach areas using robotic hydrodemolition. Using hydrodemolition we can remove defective concrete and masonry whilst preserving the underlying supporting structures of the pier .
In instances where substantial areas of concrete need to be removed, or where the location is inaccessible to our hydrodemolition machinery and operators, wire sawing may be required. Wire cutting enables the removal of large areas of concrete, and is quieter, cleaner, safer, and quicker than other methods.

Ships & Vessels
Using hydrodemolition we are able to access difficult to reach areas on ships and vessels allowing us to remove rust, deteriorated paint, corrosion, and other contaminants & debris, creating a perfectly prepared surface for repairs.
Ports
Port repair creates a unique set of challenges when trying to work around difficult environmental factors such as extreme weather conditions, tidal shifts, and working alongside busy marine traffic. Hydrodemolition allows us to create minimal disruption and complete the work faster and more efficiently than other methods.
